Building a Greener Supply Chain Together: HRC Launches Cirvia® at the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo(CISCE)
The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in Beijing from June 22-26. As the world's first national-level expo centered around supply chain cooperation, this year's event brought together 676 exhibitors, from industry leaders and specialized SMEs to trade organizations from 85 countries, regions and international organizations, all working to build closer, more efficient, and greener global supply chain partnerships. HRC, a leading provider of integrated composite solutions, returned as a key partner in the Airbus ecosystem.

On June 22, HRC officially launched Cirvia®, a new brand for circular, recycled products, at CISCE. The name combines “Cir” (circular) and “Via”(path), reflecting the brand's core idea: reaffirming the Group's long-term commitment to the circular economy and sustainable development. As the first standalone product brand, Cirvia® will play a central role in HRC's efforts to drive the green transformation of the industrial chain and support carbon neutrality goals.
At the launch ceremony, George Xu, Executive Vice President of Airbus Global and CEO of Airbus China, joined HRC for the brand's debut. Zhiyong Wang, General Manager of Carbon Neutrality at HRC, explained why Cirvia® matters and how it supports the shift to low-carbon manufacturing. The brand film also premiered, showcasing the sustainability vision and industrial strength behind Cirvia®. The highlight of the event came with when George Xu and Yongtao Gu, Founder and Chairman of HRC Group, officially unveiled Cirvia® together in front of guests and media.

During the expo, HRC also exhibited the first Cirvia® product series, including intermediate materials such as injection-molding pellets and thermoplastic mats, as well as proprietary end-use applications in automotive, aviation, construction, and sports and leisure. Several of these products are already in commercial use and have been well received by the market. With the launch of Cirvia®, HRC will continue to explore where recycled carbon fiber can go, and to lead the industry in turning recycled advanced materials into high-value products.

For the second year in a row at CISCE, HRC complemented its focus on circularity with cutting-edge work in aviation, automotive, and other fields, highlighting the Group's deep technical expertise and strong innovation in composite manufacturing.
In aviation, carbon fiber's high strength and light weight make it an ideal choice for extending aircraft range and improving flight performance. HRC showcased a carbon fiber composite vertical tail panel featuring an innovative stiffened design that integrates the skin with T-shaped stringers. Both the skin and stringers are made from unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg and cured in an autoclave, with the T-stringers secondarily bonded to the skin and hybrid joining used in select areas. The panel meets all stringent requirements while reducing weight and cost, and it's already being used on a large short takeoff and landing (STOL) unmanned cargo aircraft, proof that aerospace-grade carbon fiber parts can be produced reliably at scale. On the automotive side, a front bumper upper assembly for electric vehicles also drew massive attention. Built with a dual-layer structure of woven carbon fiber prepreg and forged carbon fiber prepreg, it allows great design freedom for complex curved surfaces, while its flowing texture and interwoven carbon patterns create a striking, high-tech look that reflects HRC's craftsmanship in balancing performance and aesthetics.
From aviation to automotive, these exhibits showcase HRC's full-chain capabilities, from material development and engineering design to industrial-scale production and recycling. Going forward, HRC will keep bringing advanced manufacturing and circularity closer together, and it looks forward to working with partners around the world to build a more sustainable future for the industry.
