HRC Supports Final Assembly Rollout of Xunqi V1000A Manned Tiltrotor Hybrid eVTOL
The Xunqi V1000A manned aircraft, for which HRC provided extensive support in full-aircraft structural design and manufacturing, has recently completed final assembly rollout. This marks further progress in the development of long-range, intelligent low-altitude mobility in China.
As the core platform for low-altitude economy development under Gul Technologies Group, Wuhan Xunqi Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the early domestic companies engaged in the development of tiltrotor hybrid eVTOL aircraft. Its flagship V1000 adopts a distributed tiltrotor configuration and a range-extended hybrid power system. It is the first large tiltrotor hybrid eVTOL in China to receive CAAC acceptance of its Type Certificate (TC) application and, with a range of more than 1,000 kilometers on a single flight, is among the longest-range aircraft of its kind in China. The V1000A manned aircraft is designed to carry four to six passengers. As applications such as intercity transport and low-altitude tourism continue to develop, the aircraft is expected to support the rollout of future air taxi services.

As a Tier 1 supplier with integrated capabilities in carbon fiber component development, airframe design, manufacturing, and final assembly, HRC was involved throughout the V1000A program, covering design, manufacturing, and verification, and supporting the project through each key stage.From the early design stage, both parties worked closely together. HRC supported overall concept evaluation and iterative optimization of the aircraft configuration, and also participated in the structural design of the full airframe, including the fuselage, wings, empennage, booms, cabin door sections, and tilt and control mechanisms. HRC also undertook key tasks including material selection, load path analysis, electrical bonding design, and sealing design.HRC exclusively undertook the manufacturing and assembly of all carbon fiber components for the V1000A. Through disciplined process control and close coordination during assembly, HRC ensured manufacturing precision and assembly quality, providing a solid foundation for the aircraft's rollout and subsequent testing.HRC was also responsible for the design, planning, organization, and execution of the full-aircraft static test at 100% limit load and the integral fuel tank test, providing key data support for the safe delivery of the V1000A.
According to public reporting, Xunqi Technology plans to establish a distributed aerial mobility model covering more than 90% of cities across China and, ultimately, build an air taxi network made up of tens of thousands of aircraft that can operate around the clock without being limited by geography or terrain. Commercial operations are targeted within five years.With each step forward in domestic eVTOL development, what once seemed out of reach is becoming increasingly achievable. Looking ahead, HRC will continue to support the commercialization of low-altitude aircraft through its comprehensive technical system and mature industrial capabilities, contributing to the growth of China’s low-altitude economy.
