HRC Named One of the “Top 100 Companies in China’s New Automotive Supply Chain” for the Fifth Consecutive Year
On October 30, the 7th Gasgoo Awards concluded successfully in Shanghai. HRC once again listed among the “Top 100 Companies in China’s New Automotive Supply Chain,” marking its fifth consecutive year on this prestigious ranking. Ms. Yang Meixiang, Deputy General Manager of HRC Automotive, was invited to attend the ceremony and accept the award on behalf of the company.

As one of the most authoritative annual recognitions in China’s automotive parts industry, the “Top 100 Companies in China’s New Automotive Supply Chain” is evaluated across five key dimensions—innovation, technical feasibility, economic practicality, market recognition, and user experience—and is regarded as a barometer of the industry’s progress. HRC’s repeated inclusion on the list not only reflects strong market and customer recognition but also underscores the pivotal role of carbon fiber composites in advancing vehicle lightweighting and high-performance transformation.

HRC’s award-winning submission, the Carbon Fiber Tailgate Assembly, was designed specifically for the Hyper SSR, a high-performance electric supercar. This benchmark product achieves a breakthrough total weight of only 11 kg, meeting the vehicle’s demanding aerodynamic and aesthetic standards. Leveraging HRC’s patented adsorption-type gluing fixture system and optimized material strategy, multiple carbon fiber and metal components were assembled with precision, achieving 100% aerospace-grade ultrasonic nondestructive testing standards across all bonding areas. The result is a seamless fusion of structural integrity, high performance, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Both the inner and outer panels of the tailgate use 0.2 mm ultra-thin 3K twill weave prepreg, producing a symmetrical, centered carbon pattern that enhances the vehicle’s technological aesthetics and brand identity—an ultimate expression of the design philosophy that “style is performance.”
As lightweight materials increasingly shape vehicle performance, range, and driving experience, carbon fiber composites are evolving from premium options into standard configurations for flagship models. This shift is accelerating innovations in body design and manufacturing while providing new technological pathways for the advancement of China’s automotive industry toward higher-end, performance-oriented development.
Looking ahead, HRC will continue to drive innovation in composite manufacturing, deepening its expertise in specialized applications across various mobility sectors. Through advanced processes and end-to-end capabilities, HRC remains committed to empowering more outstanding vehicle programs to achieve new levels of performance, efficiency, and competitiveness—helping shape a lighter, smarter, and more sustainable future for China’s automotive industry.
