HRC Awarded the Sustainability Impact for SDGs “Excellence Award for Corporate”
From 16–18 November 2025, the APEC Digital Trade and Business Innovation Forum took place in Jeju, South Korea, under the theme “Connected Innovation.” The forum brought together more than one hundred academics, business leaders and financial pioneers from the Asia-Pacific region to advance regional cooperation and technological innovation.

On 16 November, the 2025 Sustainability Impact for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Awards Ceremony was held as a central highlight of the forum. HRC, a global leading composite material solutions provider, was honored with the top prize—the Excellence Award for Corporate—and was the only carbon-fiber composite processing company to receive this distinction. This recognition underscores HRC’s technological leadership in composites and its significant contributions to sustainable development and the circular economy.

Ms. Jovin Chim, representing HRC Group, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.
The Sustainability Impact for SDGs awards are adjudicated by internationally accredited assessment experts and an honorary jury certified under the SDGs Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) framework. Evaluation follows a standardized sustainability impact assessment across the environmental, social and economic dimensions, and is conducted in accordance with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) SDG standards and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) sustainable development reporting framework. With its rigorous, internationally aligned review process, the award has become a widely respected benchmark for corporate sustainability performance.

Since its founding, HRC has embedded the SDGs into corporate strategy. Across R&D, product innovation, production operations and industry collaboration, the Group has established clear green policies and targets and has been actively advancing circular economy practices throughout the value chain. Notably, HRC is among a small number of global companies that have closed the loop across composite development, industrial application, recycling, and reuse. Leveraging its proprietary, patented recycling technologies, HRC has introduced multiple recycled products certified under GRS 4.0 and ISO 14067:2018. These solutions support key sectors including automotive, aerospace and green construction, in achieving substantial reductions in lifecycle carbon emissions.
Looking ahead, HRC will continue to amplify its sustainability impact and work with partners across the value chain to accelerate low-carbon transformation and advance a greener future.
