My CIIE Story:HRC draws blueprint for future low-carbon mobility
Editor's Note: The fifth China International Import Expo will open in less than a month. In October, several participants of the CIIE will tell their stories themed around "great opportunity" to showcase the positive changes the expo has made to the world and how it has helped build a community with a shared future for mankind over the past five years.
Before HRC participated in the CIIE for the first time in 2020, I had learnt that the previous two editions of the expo were great successes and had a far-reaching impact. We hoped the high-level trade event can help showcase HRC's brand image and aid our global business development.
During the third expo, we presented a carbon fiber mass-produced electric vehicle. A car's weight can significantly affect its energy consumption and emissions. Carbon fiber composites, which are half the weight of those made with metal, have distinct advantages in reducing carbon footprint.
Many visitors came to our booth to experience the product. Media outlets also published several special reports on our technologies. This consolidated our determination to continue investing in China.

Buoyed by the positive experience, we registered for the 2021 CIIE with no hesitation. At the 2021 edition of the expo, we showcased the first domestic carbon fiber flying car to demonstrate HRC's imagination, the limitless potential of carbon fiber composites, and the important role that the material can play in helping achieve China's carbon goals.
We also showcased carbon fiber hydrogen storage solutions, which were among the highlights of the fourth CIIE's automobile exhibition area. Many exhibitors expressed an interest in cooperating with HRC in this area.
During the expo, numerous government and company representatives entered the cockpit to experience the flying car. Media reporters and bloggers hosted live stream to share their feelings and views. China's national media including People's Daily, the Xinhua News Agency, and China National Radio also published reports about the innovation.

The CIIE has created a window for cross industry communication and effectively connected brands, buyers, and media. Thanks to the expo, HRC carbon fiber products have reached a wider range of major enterprises and even more potential partners.
We will attend the fifth CIIE this year to showcase more innovative and low-carbon solutions. We will continue increasing investments in the Chinese market and contribute to China's new energy vehicle industry.
